Day 01: Arrive in
Delhi
Our Holiday Tour Packages Representative will greet you upon on
arrival at the international airport in Delhi; from there you
will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend a leisurely
relaxing at the hotel or embark upon a city tour.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
A power breakfast is the best way
to kick off a full day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi & New
Delhi. The major tourist attractions in the Old Delhi are the Red
Fort- sheer architectural brilliance, Jama Masjid the largest
mosque in India, which dates back to 1656 AD. Chandni Chowk, the
main street of Old Delhi and a lively shopping bazaar has the
prominence of being one of the major wholesale and retail market
in the entire country housing an equally amazing number of
religious shrines of all the prominent Indian religions. Hop on
to a Cycle Rickshaw for an exciting ride in the busy lanes of
Chandani Chowk.
The architectural genius of the famous English architect Sir
Edwin Lutyens (1869- 1944) has left its blueprint in the
ingenious design and layout of New Delhi famous for its wide,
tree-lined avenues, parks, skylines and historical monuments. The
top must see places on your itinerary of New Delhi should be the
Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the Indian
President), India Gate - a 42 m high stone memorial arch, the
Qutub Minar built in 12th century, the mid-16th century Humayun's
Tomb and the famous Lotus Temple in New Delhi. Overnight stay
will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra
Morning breakfast at the Hotel,
after which we leave for Agra (202 km approx. 4 Hrs). Check in to
your hotel on arrival. After fresh up take along your cameras to
capture the pristine beauty of world-renowned Taj Mahal. To say
that it is an astounding piece of architecture doesnot do justice
to the proud passion of Emperor Shah Jahan who built this
“Crown Palace” in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz
Mahal. Later, visit the magnificent Agra Fort, built by Mughal
Emperor Akbar in 1565. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 4: Agra - Bandhavgarh
Have your breakfast early as we
have to take a morning train to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. We
arrive at Umaria (the nearest railway station from Bandhavgarh
Tiger Reserve) in the evening and proceed to Bandhavgarh. Lodging
and dining arrangements have already been made for you at a
famous Wildlife Resort.
Overnight will be at the resort.
Day 5: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Experience the thrill of a full
day of game viewing (Morning and Evening Safari) inside the park.
The excitement of an Elephant / Jeep Safari to spot the majestic
tigers and other wildlife at the park will make you wish that it
does not come to an end.
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, the former hunting grounds of
Maharajas of Rewa proudly houses the largest number of tigers in
India. It is this very park, which inspired Rudyard Kipling to
pen his famous “Jungle Book”. The Park is famous for
its frequent Tiger sightings. Overnight stay will be at the
resort
Day 6: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Continue your exploration of the
Park with another full day of game viewing with Elephant / Jeep
Safari (Morning and Evening Safari) in the Tiger Reserve. Do
remember to visit the famous and magnificent Bandhavgarh Fort,
during the day. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
The rich flora and fauna of the
Park call for a 3rd day of game viewing (Morning and Evening
Safari) in the Tiger Reserve. Resume your exciting Elephant /
Jeep Safari to spot the majestic tigers and other wildlife in
their natural habitat at the park. Overnight stay will be at the
resort.
Day 8: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
By the 4th day of game viewing
(Morning and Evening Safari) in the Tiger Reserve you are bound
to cover most of the 22 different species of wildlife and over
250 species of birds inhabiting the Park. Your regal ride on the
Elephant or the paced Jeep Safari is sure to have provided you an
excellent tour through the mixed deciduous forest in the park.
Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 9: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve – Delhi
Wrap up your Bandhavgarh Tiger
Reserve tour with an early morning jeep safari to explore the
rich flora and fauna of the Park and spot the jungle king
prowling in their territory. Board the evening train from Umaria
to Delhi. Overnight will be on the train.
Day 10: Delhi - Further Destination
As you arrive at Delhi Railway
Stationin the morning, you will be met by our company
representative who will transfer you to international airport to
catch a flight for your onward destination or way back home with
sweet memories of Tour of Taj with Tiger in India.
