Day 01 : Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai. Transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 02 : Mumbai - Ahmedabad
Morning cruise across Gate Way of
India (9 kms) and visit Elephanta Caves notable for huge rock
cuts. Afternoon tour of Mumbai visiting Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging
Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill offering a
panoramic view of Marine drive, Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales
Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India & drive
through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive & Flora Fountain.
Evening transfer to Railway Station to connect Train # 9271
Bhavnagar Express dep. 21:20 hrs.
Day 03 : Ahmedabad
Arrive Ahmedabad at 06:00 hrs.
Morning visit the magnificent Mosque of Siddi Saiyad with its
exquisite stone carvings, the beautiful Jama Masjid, White
marbled Hathee Singh's Temple, Dada Hari Baoli, Calico Textile
Museum and Sabarmati Ashram started by Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 04 : Ahmedabad - Udaipur
Full day free to explore the city.
Evening transfer to Railway station to connect Train # 9944
Ahmedabad - Udaipur Express dep. 23:05 hrs.
Day 05 : Udaipur
Arrive Udaipur at 07:40 hrs.
Afternoon city tour visiting the city palace, Jagdish Temple,
drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki bari (Queen's resort
for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. Evening enjoy boat
ride on River Pichola.
Day 06 : Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur (259 kms
/ 6 hrs) visiting Ranakpur Temples enroute. Ranakpur - 98 kms
from Udaipur, the Jain Temples built in the 15th century are
situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is
quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and
beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and
none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is
really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are
side attractions. Evening visit Osain which is famous for ancient
temples and cultural heritages. You can also experience camel
ride.
Day 07 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Morning tour of Jodhpur visiting
the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including
Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing
Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid
Public Gardens. Check-out at 1200 hrs. Late evening transfer to
Railway station to connect Train # 4810 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer Express dep. 23:15 hrs.
Day 08 : Jaisalmer
Morning arrive Jaisalmer at 05:15
hrs. Later visit the Fort, bazaars & the old mansions known
as "havelis". People still live in these ancient buildings dating
from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and
filigreed work. Evening visit San Dues on Camel back.
Day 09 : Jaisalmer - Jaipur
Morning and afternoon free for
leisure or to explore the city by own. Afternoon transfer to
Railway station to connect Train # 4060 dep. 15:30 hrs.
Day 10 : Jaipur
Early Morning arrive Jaipur at
04:55 hrs. Morning visit Amber Fort on elephant back / Jeep.
Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh
Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon
tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a
colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince.
Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is
260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory
& Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the
pink rose residential & business areas.
Day 11: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Morning drive to Agra enroute
visiting Fatehpur Sikri , the old Mughal capital. Transfer to
hotel.
Day 12 : Agra - Delhi
Morning visit the world famous Taj
Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen
Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra
Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private
Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by
Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Check-out at 1200 hrs.
Evening transfer to Railway station to connect Train # 2001 New
Delhi Shatabdi Express dep.20:23 hrs, Arrive New Delhi 22:30 hrs.
& transfer to hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on all Fridays)
Day 13 : Delhi
Morning tour of tour of Old Delhi
visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of
Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past
Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by
Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War
Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple.
Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government
Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Late
evening transfer to airport to connect flight for onward
destination.
