Day 01: Delhi
Our representative will meet you
at the railway station at 1745hrs on Wednesday where you will
board the luxury Palace on Wheel Train for Jaipur. Enjoy a lavish
dinner and overnight stay in train.
Day 02: Jaipur
On arrival in Jaipur, the pink
city of India, enjoy a delicious lunch at Rambagh Palace Hotel.
Go for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur and visit Hawa Mahal, Amber
Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Travel by the Palace on Wheels to
Jaisalmer at 1730hrs.
Day 03: Jaisalmer
Arrive at Jaisalmer station on
Friday morning at 0615hrs. Visit the charming fort, palaces and
havelis before enjoying a traditional dinner. Return to the
station by 2300hrs for your journey to Jodhpur.
Day 04: Jodhpur
Palace on Wheels reaches Jodhpur
at 1800hrs on Saturday. Go for a sightseeing tour of the city
attractions like Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. You will be
taken to the world-famous Umaid Bhawan Palace for lunch. The
train departs from Jodhpur at 1530hrs.
Day 05: Sawai Madhopur
On Sunday the Palace on Wheels
Train will arrive at Sawai Madhopur at 0400hrs. Visit the
majestic Ranthambore Fort that is surrounded by Ranthambore
National Park. After a tour of the world famous national park
return to the train that leaves the station at 11hrs.
Day 06: Chittaurgarh
The train reaches Chittaurgarh
station at 1530hrs. After a guided tour of this splendid city
proceed by train to Udaipur. The journey to Udaipur begins at
2230hrs on Sunday.
Day 07: Udaipur
You will be received at the
station at 1530hrs. After a lavish lunch at Lake Palace Hotel,
enjoy the visit to this city of lakes by going on a boat ride on
Pichola Lake. Also visit City Palace on your tour of Udaipur as a
part of Palace of Wheel Tour package. You will depart from
Udaipur at 2000hrs.
Day 08: Bharatpur
The next place in the tour
itinerary for Palace on Wheels is Bharatpur. You will reach here
at 0600hrs and will be taken to the Koeladeo Ghana National Park.
This wildlife sanctuary, housing 300 bird species, is a world
heritage site and worth a visit.
Day 09: Agra
The city of the Taj Mahal is the
next stop on your Tour. On arrival in Agra you will be driven to
the historic city of Fatehpur Sikri. Return to Agra for a
delicious lunch at Mughal Sheraton and then go to visit the Taj
Mahal. After a delightful time in Agra, return to the Palace on
Wheels that departs at 2300hrs.
Day 10: Delhi
At 0600hrs on Wednesday morning
you will return to Delhi. Breakfast is served on board before the
train reaches Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station.
