Day 01: Houseboat for
Alleppey
Start your Honeymoon Wedding Backwater Tour Package by checking
in at 12 noon at Alleppey Rainbow Boatman’s Country. Then
start cruising through the Punnamada Lake, the famous venue of
the Nehru Trophy Boat Race. Then you will enter the breathtaking
waters of the Vembanad Lake and enjoy the beautiful views along
the banks. Anchor at Vembanad Lake for the night. Here ends the
first day of your Honeymoon Wedding Backwater Tour Package.
Day 02: Arrive at Alleppey for Wedding
Second day is the day when the major fun of your Honeymoon
Wedding Backwater Tour Package takes place. You will cruise
through SNDP Canal to reach Alleppey for dressing up in the
traditional bride and bridegroom attire of Kerala. Wedding will
take by 11:30am in a beautifully arranged manadapam on the
houseboat itself with nadaswaram in the presence of a temple
priest. At 12 noon, the ‘thalikettu’ will take place.
When the wedding ceremony is over, traditional Kerala full course
vegetarian sadya will be served on plantain leaves as in
traditional Hindu weddings.
Then you will start cruising by 02:30pm to reach Pathiramanal, a
beautiful romantic island on the Kerala backwaters. Enjoy special
live instrumental music at 7:30pm after which special candle
light dinner will be served with special seafood menu. Anchor at
Pathiramanal for the night.
Day 03: Kumarakom - Vattakayal
Day 3 of your Honeymoon Wedding
Backwater Tour Package begins by cruising to Kumarakom to see the
famous bird sanctuary. You will cruise through C- Block and enjoy
a village walk in the evening. Also see local fishing. Anchor at
Vattakayal for the night.
Day 04: Kumarakom - Thottappally
Begin the 4th day of your Wedding
Honeymoon Backwater Tour Package by cruising through Kainakari to
see the 400-year-old wooden house, snake boat, 400 year old
Champakulam Church and toddy tapping. Anchor at Thottappally for
the night.
Day 05: Thottappally - Kanjippadam
On the fifth day of your Honeymoon
Wedding Backwater Tour Package, you will see Thottappally beach,
coir making and Buddha Statue. Enjoy special canoe ride through
the network of canals during the day. Anchor at Kanjippadam for
the night.
Day 06: Pallathuruthy – Departure
Last day of your Honeymoon Wedding
Backwater Tour Package starts with a healthy breakfast after
which you will start cruising. Afterwards you will reach
Pallathuruthy for check out in the morning. Flower decoration in
the bedroom on the wedding day, mandapam, nadaswaram, sari, juba,
mundu, gold thali for marriage, light music and canoe ride will
