Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Enchanting India Arrive Delhi, the capital of India. Meet and
greet at the airport, transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Agra
After breakfast the next morning, leave for Agra. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city,
visiting the Taj Mahal, the famous monument of love, the Red Fort
etc. Evening free for souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight at
Agra.
Day 03 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Delhi
After early morning breakfast, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the
erstwhile capital of the great Mughal Emperor Akbar The Great. In
the afternoon, drive back to Delhi. On arrival, check in to
hotel. After breakfast the next day, full day sightseeing of Old
& New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Qutab
Minar, President's house, India Gate, National Museum etc.
Evening free for souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight at
Delhi.
Day 04 : Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling (fly and
drive)
After an early breakfast, transfer
to the airport for a flight to Bagdogra. On arrival, drive
through the exotic Himalayan countryside for Darjeeling. On
arrival in Darjeeling (world famous for Darjeeling tea) check in
to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Darjeeling
Today morning after breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing tour of
the city visiting Tiger Hill, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute,
Zoological Park and grand majestic view of Kanchenjunga, the
highest peak in India and the third highest in the world.
Day 06 : Darjeeling
Enchanting India Today at leisure. Dinner and overnight
Darjeeling.
Day 07 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Kolkata (by air)
After breakfast, drive back to
Bagdodgra to board flight to Kolkata. On arrival in Kolkata
transfer to hotel. Kolkata was the first capital of India during
the British rule and has a great colonial past with the highest
density of population in India. Kolkata, which is famous for its
mouth-watering sweets such as world famous Rasagolla, has its own
charm for visitors. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Kolkata
After breakfast do the sightseeing tour of the city visiting
Indian museum, Victoria Memorial, Shaheed Minar & Birla
Planetorium. Dinner and overnight Kolkata.
Day 09 : Kolkata - Mumbai (by air)
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board flight to Mumbai.
The city also known as "Bollywood", famous for Indian Film
Industry. It is also the trade capital of India and one of its
busiest cities. It is a must for all visitors for its coastal
beauty and also the amazing culture of the Indian film industry.
On arrival, check in. The rest of the day is free for
shopping.
Day 10 : Mumbai
After breakfast, enjoy full day
sightseeing tour of the city, visiting the Gateway of India,
Chaupaty and Juhu beaches, the Hanging Gardens etc. Dinner and
overnight at Mumbai.
Day 11: Mumbai - Cochin (fly and cruise)
After breakfast transfer to airport to board flight to historical
Kochi (Cochin). Set on a cluster of peninsulas and islands in the
Indian Ocean. We take a ferry-boat across the waterway to the
nearby peninsula where we discover the remains of Fort Cochin and
also St Francis' Church, the oldest Christian church in India.
Portuguese Franciscan monks built the church in 1503. The church
itself is testament to the history of Cochin, having been used at
various times by Roman Catholics, Dutch Protestants and the
Anglicans.
Day 12 : Cochin
Today is at leisure and you have an opportunity to enjoy the
beauty of the nature and Indian cultural heritage of Ayurveda and
Yoga together. Spend the day or evening taking an ayurvedic
herbal massage. Dinner and overnight at Cochin.
Day 13 : Private Backwater Cruise
Enchanting India After breakfast, drive to the small town of
Kumarakom. Here you board our private houseboat with your
personalised chef who will provide you with the authentic taste
of South Indian cuisine. Sail through the beautiful backwaters of
Kerala. This large aquatic area is a vast network of lagoons,
lakes, rivers and canals, and the people who live in this region
have created their own distinct lifestyles. Enjoy every bit of
this amazing backwater cruise with lunch, overnight stay and
dinner on board.
Day 14 : Departure
In the morning, wake up to the chirruping of the birds and enjoy
your breakfast before disembarking the boat at Alleppy to
transfer to Cochin for your return flight.
