Delhi-Agra - Bharatpur- Delhi
Day 01: Arrive in Delhi
The warm welcome of the Holiday Tour Packages executive present
at the Delhi airport will give you a taste of the wonderful trip
in store for you. After being transferred to the Hotel, you can
relax after a tiring journey or simply venture out to explore the
city. The excellent food served for dinner will make you crave
for more even as you slip to deep slumber in the comfortable
beds.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra - Bharatpur
The day is jam packed with a series of spots to cover. After an
early morning breakfast, we drive to Agra - the city of the Taj
(203km-4 ½ hrs). Arrive by noon and visit some major tourist
attraction of the city like Taj Mahal and the magnificent Agra
Fort.
Later, we drive to Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary at Bharatpur
(65km-1hr), en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted 16th
century Mughal town famous for its Bulund Darwaza (the highest
gateway in the world) and the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti- a
renowned Sufi saint of India. On arrival at Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary, we check into the Forest Lodge/Resort for dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 03: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Enjoy the exciting early morning,
bird watching walks or by a boat ride through the marshes. The
expert opinion of the accompanying naturalist will give you a
better insight into the dwelling habits of the various species of
birds documented in the Park. Make your bird watching experience
even more enjoyable with a rickshaw or a bicycle ride to explore
the rich and diverse avifauna of the park. Dinner and overnight
stay will be at the Lodge/ Resort at Bharatpur.
Day 04: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Continue your exploratory sojourn
with another full day of bird watching in the sanctuary, as a
single day of bird watching can hardly do justice to the
significant bird population inhabiting the park. The multifarious
flora and fauna exhibited by the sanctuary never fail to impress
its visitors. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge/
Resort at Bharatpur.
Day 05: Bharatpur - Delhi - Tour Concludes
When at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary,
you can never have enough of bird watching, so enjoy a morning
visit to the park after breakfast at the lodge.
Towards the end of the day, we drive back to Delhi so that you
can be timely transferred to the airport/railway station for your
onward destination or way back home as per your
choice.
